Walking is a powerful exercise, appropriate for people of all ages: it helps shed weight, improves your physical shape, tones your muscles, decreases the risk of heart disease and improves your mood. In addition, it is free and there are no contraindications. That is why walking is considered the perfect physical activity.


Even those who have a sedentary life may improve their shape by walking at least 30 minutes 3 times a week. This alone will free you from inactivity and improve your quality of life. But in order to lose weight and get your body into shape, a little bit more commitment is required. This can be accomplished by slowly increasing the length and frequency of your walks.

Walking at a moderate pace for 30 minutes will result in your losing approximately 180 calories.
